INSTALLATION:
Under your main Severance directory is a directory called 3DChars. (eg: c:\Games\Severance\3DChars)
Simply copy the file "Amz.mmp" from the .zip file into this directory, overwriting the existing file there.
You may want to first make a backup of the original Amz.mmp file before overwriting it, so that you can easily revert to the normal clothed Amazon skin.
DESCRIPTION:
This patch will replace all the textures for the basic leather-clad Zoe model with new ones, consisting of a brunette Zoe wearing nothing but boots and gauntlets. As this is simply a replacement texture file, the new skins will be present in the character select screen and during the pre-level cut scenes, unlike in conventional Severance skin-switcher mods. It will also replace the basic Zoe skin in Arena mode with the nude equivalent.
Picking up light armor for the Amazon will still change your appearance slightly: Zoe will gain a second gold armband, but otherwise will still continue to run around naked. :-D
NOTES:
This mod was completed in short bursts over about a week using the highly advanced graphics program known as Paint ;)
For those who think nude patches are bad and sinful, remember that Severance is an 18-rated game. So if you're not old enough to be using a nude patch, you shouldn't be playing Severance in the first place!
This mod was not originally intended to be a nude mod, as it was mainly to see if I could get the texture compiler to work so I could use the cooler multiplayer Amazon skins throughout the whole game. It annoyed me that the only skin you could effectively use in the single-player game was the most boring of the three skins on offer. I started tinkering a bit with the textures before compiling them, and eventually decided to go the whole hog and do a nude patch, as I was surprised that noone had done one for the game already.
Sure, I could have just done a new alternative clothed skin, but I wanted to have a go at doing flesh textures. And besides, playing nude is far more fun. ;-)
This is the second release of the nude patch - this version corrects a problem with the original palette creation, which strangely resulted in Zoe having an undercarriage which was somewhat redder than intended!
Feel free to distribute this mod as you wish, as long as this text file accompanies it. Mod authors can use these textures freely in their own creations or as the base for new skins, but please include a credit to me (Sapphidia) in the documentation.
